Summary
Sudoking does not ask for your name, email, or any account. To run the daily leaderboard it sends anonymous gameplay data to my server, tied to a random identifier that cannot be linked to you.
Data we collect
- Anonymous install identifier — a random UUID generated the first time you open the app and stored on your device. It is not derived from your device, Apple ID, or any personal information.
- Gameplay data — the moves you enter, mistakes, start and finish times, and whether the puzzle was completed. This is what places you on the daily leaderboard.
That is all. No name, email, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier, or analytics.
How it is used
Only to serve the daily puzzle, keep your current game in sync, and rank completion times. The data is not used for advertising, profiling, or shared with anyone.
Where it is stored
On a server I operate at sudoku.filipsasinowski.dev, in the Netherlands. Data travels over HTTPS. Gameplay records are kept to maintain the leaderboard history.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the identifier from your device, which permanently disconnects you from any server records; the records that remain are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. If you would nevertheless like them removed, email me while the app is still installed and I will help identify and delete them.
Third-party services
None. The app talks only to my own server.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
