Why can I only play one puzzle a day?
That is the whole idea: everyone gets the same puzzle, and the leaderboard compares times for that day. A new puzzle unlocks at midnight UTC; the countdown is shown after you finish.

I lost my leaderboard placement after reinstalling.
Your placement is tied to an anonymous identifier stored with the app, so reinstalling starts fresh. There is no account to restore.

The puzzle will not load.
The app needs an internet connection to fetch the daily puzzle. Check your connection and try again.

How do I make pencil marks?
Select a cell, then long-press a digit on the keypad to add or remove it as a candidate. A normal tap commits the digit. Marks are pruned automatically when a digit lands in that row, column or box.

I didn't finish yesterday's puzzle. Is it gone?
Not yet. An unfinished puzzle stays for one extra day, and the status line reads "Playing yesterday's puzzle" while you're in that grace period. After that it's replaced by today's.

What do the colours on the result cards mean?
Rank is gold, silver or bronze for the top three that day. Time is green, yellow or red against the typical pace for that puzzle's difficulty.
